ALOT has happened in the past year! My oldest son, Charlie and his wife, Kim had their baby Dec. 16. A beautiful healthy baby girl! She weighed 7# and was 21 inches long. Her name is Sophia Mae!
My son, Michael got engaged on Christmas Eve to a fantastic young lady, Ashley! They are planning their wedding for Aug 2013.
My daughter, Krystal is dong very well in school. She is going for a Vet Tech!
I quit my job in Aug and starting watching children out of my home and I absolutely love it!
I am no longer a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and I must admit, I have not stamped much this past year.
My life is really Blessed. Looking forward to 2012.

I just had to share this list. I’m not the author. :)
1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. Buy a lock if you have to.
3. Buy a DVR. Ttape your late night shows and get more sleep.
4. When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement, "My purpose is to__________ _ today."
5. Live with the 3 E’s — Energy, Enthusiasm, Empathy.
6. Watch more movies, play more games and read more books than you did in 2006.
7. Make time to practice meditation, yoga, tai chi, and prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.
8. Spend more time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6.
9. Dream more while you are awake.
10. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.
11. Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan salmon, broccoli, almonds & walnuts.
12. Try to make at least three people smile each day.
13. Clear your clutter from your house, your car, your desk and let new and flowing energy into your life.
14. Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip, energy vampires, issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
15. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
16. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out charge card.
17. Smile and laugh more. It will keep the energy vampires away.
18. Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good.
19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
20. Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
21. You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
22. Make peace with your past so it won’t screw up the present.
23. Don’t compare your life to others’. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
24. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, and wear the fancy lingerie (not you guys.) Don’t save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: "In five years, wills this matter?"
27. Forgive everyone for everything.

Do you have a naughty puppy?

Well I do! She is 9 months old, and a black lab! She loves to chew and shred paper.
Do you want to know what a 1/2 sheet of chewed up and partially eaten piece of Bravo Burgundy cardstock looks like after the dog throws it back up? If not, stop reading. lol Well ,it is a good pulp consistency for making handmade paper and the salivia is a beautiful color of bright burgundy all over my carpet. That's what! Darn naughty doggie!
I will refrain from posting any pics, mainly b'cuz I didn't take any. Who needs a visual when I have it embedded in my memory forever!
I think the cat knocked the paper off my stamping table. Maybe they are trying to drive me nuts?!? Someone tell them that it is too late! I already am nuts!

Hi Everyone!!! Hope you are having a great summer, so far!!!
I am starting a new Stamp Club with the new Stampin' Up! Catalog due out on Aug.11,2008. The club will run the months of the catalog. Aug. 2008-Jan. 2009. I have seen some preview sets and accessories and it is going to be a great calalog! I am so excited!
You will commit spending $25.00 (before shipping and tax) everytime we meet. We will pick a month when we will each have our turn to be Hostess.
We meet the third Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
When it is your turn to be Hostess, you are in charge of the snacks for that evening. At the end of the catalog, we will then have the opportunity to sign up for the next six (6) month catalog .
By committing to the Stamp Club, you will receive a free catalog and free mini catalogs. You will be a Hostess one of the months to be able to earn free merchandise and Hostess set(s). We will make 3 projects everytime we meet and all you have to bring is your free catalog, your favorite adhesive, and a beverage for yourself. The Hostess will provide the snacks and I will provide all the materials (except adhesive) for all three (3) projects! My sanity? Anyone see it?

Well Thursday I picked up my son Mike's dog. They are at Country USA. So I had 4 dogs til Saturday when my other son, Charlie needed a puppy sitter for his dog. They went to Milwaukee to help a friend move. So since yesterday I have had 5 dogs in the house. Our 99 pound, 3 yr. old black lab, Dakota, our 55.5 pound 6 month old lab, Lexi and 11 yr. old Scooter at 9.9 pounds (pomeraniam). Mike's dog at 55 pounds and maybe alittle over a year, Duece, and then little 7 pound, 4 month old puggle, Diesel!
I need a bigger house. Oh and a bigger bed, they all want to sleep with you too.
All in all, they are fun, but alot of comotion.

This morning my son (age 23) came over and went fishing with my husband. Mike is my hubbies step son, but you wouldn't know, he thinks of both the boys as his own. Loves them as if they are his own.
When we were deciding wether or not to have children together he said, do we need more? We already have 2 healthy boys! When I met my husband now, my boys were 2 and 4 yrs. He loves them like they are his and wouldn't have it any other way. They are now 23 and 25, and we did end up having a daughter, age 17.
We just got back from Dairy Queen!
So far, I think he has had a great day and it is only going to get better, as everyone will be here for supper. We are having lasagna!

Mother's Day Gift to Ron's Mom

I made my husband's Mom, a gift. This is a one sheet mini book. I used one 12x12 sheet of SU DS paper and added some flowers from SU Flower Fusions and printed out a few pics and done. Very simple. Oh and I used a 'belly band' to keep it closed.

Just had to share what a $40 'updew' consists of, ALOT of hairspray and glitter hairspray and 54, yes 54 bobby pins! It definately was worth every cent, it was so pretty! I just got a kick out of the pile of bobby pins when she took her hair down.

So far so good, I am able to move after the workouts and the next day too! LOL
I do enjoy going, and it is not bothering my 'tennis elbow' so far, hope it doesn't either. Iwould love to be able to work off some of the sweets I eat. I have no willpower! I work in a bakery....not good! Not good at all!

Joined Curves

Well, I took the exercise plunge! I joined Curves yesterday and went to my first workout today! It is amazing what a 30 minute workout can do for you. I felt very good afterwards. I just hope I can move tomorrow, as I am extremely out of shape!

Bad Puppy Day

Well today has started with the puppy having a bad morning. First, she went potty on the kitchen floor and poop. Then she ripped up something in the living room. I should have taken a pic. It is snowing out and miserable. So I decided to showcase Scooter today. He is curled up in Lexi's kennel. Seems the kennel is a nice napping place for our cat, Lily, our Pomeraniam, Scooter and for Lexi. Dakota our big Black lab doesn't fit or maybe he would go in there too.

Right when we think Lexi is trained, she pees on the floor! Well she went almost a week without any accidents, so I guess it is a good start!

New Puppy!

We got a new Black Lab in the beginning of Febuary! She is the cutest little thing! Krystal named her Lexi (short for Alexis). She is growing by leaps and bounds and we almost have her potty trained. Or maybe, she has us potty trained? LOL
